Since the beginning of the last century Half Moon Bay has been one of the most popular recreation areas on Port Phillip Bay. Half Moon Bay Swimming & Life Saving Clubs Inc. was first founded in 1910.
Now commonly known as Half Moon Bay Surf Life Saving Club since affiliating with Surf Life Saving Australia in 1989 the club has gone from strength to strength. Half Moon Bay is now one of the top surf clubs in Victoria.
With our focus on lifesaving and the surf competition arena we have a deep history at state, national and world level in all age groups including nipper, junior, senior and masters.
We are located in the City of Bayside, approximately 20 kilometres south of Melbourne.
